Hassan M. Ahmad is a Canadian and American trained lawyer and legal academic specializing in issues related to all areas of international law, human rights, and corporate social responsibility. He offers consulting advice, public speaking appearances, and select litigation services (appellate work).

Hassan has spoken at conferences in Canada, the U.S. and all over Europe. He has also published academic legal articles in the ASIL Annual Proceedings, Osgoode Hall Law Journal, Pace International Law Review, Journal of International Criminal Justice, and Canadian Class Action Review, among others. He is frequently asked to comment in the media on legal issues before the courts. He has been interviewed by The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, CBC News, CBC Radio as well as local television, radio, and newspaper outlets

In addition to academic articles, Hassan's writings have appeared in trade journals such as The Advocates Journal, Law Times and Canadian Lawyer and blogs such as iPolitics and Rabble. He has litigated cases related to human rights and international law in trial and appellate courts and in administrative tribunals.
